On arrival at Srinagar airport our representative will escort you to your pre-booked hotel at Pahalgam, 'The Valley of Shepherds'. We drive to Pahalgam via Pampore, Avantipura ruins and Bijbehara, here the road turns scenic as we drive parallel on the Lidder river flowing from the opposite direction. On reaching Pahalgam, check-in at hotel and spend the rest of the day at leisure.
Early morning after breakfast visit Chandanwari, located 15 km from Pahalgam, is the starting point of the famous Amarnath yatra. It is also famous for the snow sledging on a snow bridge. Also visit Betaab valley where they shot the famous scenes from movie Betaab. Visit Aru Valley located at a distance of about 12 km from Pahalgam. The Aru valley is surrounded by mountains on three sides and is famous for trout fishing. One can often see animals like the snow leopards, Himalayan wolf and black bear while travelling through this uninhibited place. Return to hotel by evening. Overnight stay at Pahalgam.
Early morning after breakfast transfer to Srinagar en route coverage of Srinagar local sight scenes given below: Nishat Bagh: It is the second largest Mughal Garden in Kashmir. It is a terraced Garden situated on the eastern side of the Dal Lake in Srinagar. This garden is also known as ‘The Garden of Bliss’ and has the Zabarwan Mountains forming its backdrop. The garden was designed and built in 1633 by Asif Khan, Brother of Noor Jahan. Pari Mahal: Built by Mughal Prince Dara Shikoh, elder son of Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan in the year 1650 AD. Pari Mahal is one of the popular tourist attractions in Srinagar city situated on top of Zabarwan mountain range which runs close to Dal Lake. Chashma Shahi Garden: The garden was built in 1632 by Ali Mardan, a governor of the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan. The Chashma Shahi (Royal Spring) Garden showcases the serene beauty of Mughal designs. Experience nature at its most ornate as you climb the garden’s terraces, which are interspersed with polished walkways, colorful plants and carved water features. Tulip Garden: It is situated at the foothills of Zabarwan Range. Overlooking the iconic Dal Lake, the garden is opened in 2007. It is encircled by Nishat Bagh and Chashma Shahi Garden from three sides. Adorned by 70 varieties of tulips, the garden is one of the most popular tourist attractions in Srinagar. To add more magnetism to the garden, several rose beds are also cultivated. Shankaracharya temple: The temple is said to have been built by Raja Gopadatya In 371 BC. Located on Gopadari Hill in the south-east of Srinagar, Shankaracharya Temple lies at a height of 1100 feet above surface level of the city. Check-in at Hotel. Overnight stay at Srinagar.
After breakfast, drive to Sonamarg. Cross the town of Kangan, Mammar, Gagangir. Once you reach Sonamarg, you make take a 3-hour walk or horseback trip to the Thajwass glacier. After return, visit the small town market. Drive back to Srinagar in the evening and Shikara rides in Dal lake in the evening. Transfer to the Srinagar hotel for overnight stay.
After breakfast in the morning, proceed towards Gulmarg. Enroute you get to see the beautiful Apple, Cherry, Strawberry Orchards and Tangmarg town fields and drive ahead on a scenic drive of 14 kilometers to Gulmarg. In Gulmarg visit Khilanmarg and take a ride in world’s highest cable car "Gondola" or enjoy your day by playing golf in the world’s highest golf course. Drive back to Srinagar by evening. In evening free time for shopping. Overnight stay in a house boat.
After breakfast our representative will assist you to Srinagar airport to board your flight to return to your home with sweet memories.
